Villa La Magia Centre for Contemporary Art LA LIMONAIA DI PONENTE was officially opened on June 2005, with the exhibition by artist Fabrizio Corneli “Micat in Vertice”.
The idea of an exposition space committed to contemporary art was intensely wished and supported by Local Administration within the intention of improve and revive the Medicean Villa La Magia, bought by the Town Council in 2000.
The project for the Centre consists both in expositive activities inside the Limonaia and in the realization of a permanent park- museum called “Genius Loci- The Spirit of the Place”- Villa La Magia Permanent Contemporary Art Collection.
